Method of Cleansing & Charging: Any stone with a hardness under 7 should not be cleaned in salt water.[5]
As with Botswana Agate, due to it's strong connection to trees I believe that Dendritic Agate could be placed amongst them to recharge (see below).
Personally I feel that Dendritic Agate would also benefit from a cleansing and charging when the planet Mercury turns direct after a period of retrograde.

As with the Judgement Card of the Tarot, Dendritic Agate calls for us to look into our shadow self and face the memories that make us feel guilty, ashamed or angry. It helps us to understand the positive lessons behind these negative experiences and finally release their hold over us. This acceptance of the past brings with it a fresh and realistic view of oneself and a sense of rebirth. By highlighting negative behavior patterns Dendritic Agate can prove beneficial in overcoming self destructive behaviour or addictions. It can also assist in overcoming backache which is frequently a symptom of the unconcious desire to avoid confronting difficullt emotions.

Physically Dendritic Agate can be used to treat disorders of the skeletal system and support ones physical reality by providing alignment of the bone structure. Also, the branching patterns within the crystal resemble nerves and blood vessels, conditions of which can also be assisted by Tree Agate. Finally, Dendritic Agate can help reduce pain, particularly if placed directly on the affected point.

Magical: The ancient Greeks associated Dendritic Agate with dryads, woodlands and tree sprites and the name dendritic itself is a derivation of the ancient Greek name for tree - Dendrite. To ensure a good harvest they used to bury the stone in the fields at the time of sowing their crops [2].
